Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) Training
Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) has become fundamental to the practice of planning, management, and the operation of a business as a basic of risk management. Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 requires that this process should be systematic and recorded so that the results are reliable and the analysis complete.
The risk assessment process should be continuous and should not be regarded as a one-off exercise. It should be simple enough to be used by small and medium industries and should be versatile enough to be used by all in various economic sectors, either in the manufacturing sector, construction sector or any other economic sector.
The training aims to give exposures and guidance for the identification of hazards to be applied in each department, in order to carry out suitable risk assessment.
